Maples Farm Park Events:
Save the dates for upcoming events to be held at Maples Farm Park

October 3rd - Saturday from 3-5pm.  Wonderful music by performed by Flutist Amanda Baker and Clarinetist Chris Howard with an afternoon of wine, cheese and music pairings. Wine tasting sponsored by Universal Discount Package Store in Norwich with Meadow Stone Farm Cheese sampling. Event will be held inside the Homestead at Maples Farm Park. Reservations are necessary, space is limited. Tickets are $10. To make a reservation email Maplesfarmpark@gmail.com Bring ID to show proof of age.

October 10th - Saturday from 5-8pm. FREE Community Concert. Bring a picnic dinner or buy a pizza from the Bridge's Market pizza oven and enjoy "The Hoolios". A great local band rolls with Zydeco, Americana, Rock, Folk and Latin Tunes. Rain date Sunday October 11th. Bring your own chairs, blanket, and battery operated lanterns.

October 25th - Sunday from 6-7pm. Civil War storytelling event in the Homestead.  Arrive at 5:30 for refreshments and seating. This is a story telling by nationally awarded Story Teller, Carolyn Stearns. The event is for grown-ups. The event is FREE with donations of nonperishable food for the Bozrah Food Bank. A reservation is necessary. Email maplesfarmpark@gmail.com to make a reservation.

Gourd Night

Thanks for voting in the American Farmland Trust Farmers Market Contest for us this past week, I had forgotten about it expiring last week and so we did pretty good considering. We are still a TOP CT Farmers Market, but then again you already knew that!
ONLY 2 MORE MARKETS LEFT! So if your staying til the end of the Market you may want to bring along a flash light or a lantern as the nights are getting darker earlier. This week is our Annual Gourd Night with gourds grown locally in Bozrah by Brush Hill Dairy Farm. Market Shoppers will receive 1 FREE Gourd at the Market Information Tent (while supplies last).
October is a busy month at Maples Farm Park, see below for a listing of events being hosted by the Maples Farm Park Commission. This week will be the wine, cheese & live music in the Homestead on Saturday, October 3rd from 3-5pm. A limited amount of tickets are available so get yours soon by emailing MaplesFarmPark@gmail.com.
Market Music this week is The Rust'd Keys.  The Rust'd Keys (Diane Kozikowski & Dave Downs) perform a style of music they call "Nouveau Croon," blending early jazz/pop influences with modern acoustic sensibilities. Their repertoire spans several decades of American popular music.
