In 2014 t
he Bozrah Farmers Market was voted Connecticut's #2 Most Celebrated Farmers Market and #9 Favorite Farmers Market in the USA!

CT Artists Night

August 28th from 4-7 pm at Maples Farm Park
This week is a true tradition for our Market having Artists in the Park. We have both En Plen Air Artists painting the scenes of the Market as well as special Artisan Guests behind Maples Farm Homestead.  What makes it even better is the view from a Horse & Carriage ride thanks to our Market Sponsor New England Carriage Imports, truly Bozrah authentic!

This week our Market giveaway is a fresh ear of locally grown sweet corn from Betsy's Stand of Sterling, CT (while supplies last).  Betsy and her daughter Katie bring us fresh produce grown on their farm to the Market each and every Friday Night. Supporting Local is what it's all about and by doing so your feeding your family the best quality and taste!

Market Music this week is Shawn Taylor.  With a thumping thumb, dancing fingers, wailing harp, deep gritty soul stirring vocals and poetic blue collar lyrics, Taylor's songs ooze American roots. His voice has been compared to Tom Waites, Ray Lamontagne, Bruce Springsteen and Chris Smither. His original songs draw from the deep Americana musical well and his lyrics are colored by the experiences of his own working class wandering roots.
Special Guests this Week in the Market
Burly Stone Soap started because they were tired of the frilly names, of the flowery, perfumey scents, of the tiny sized bars of soap that wouldn’t last a week in the shower.  Seriously, they just wanted big, beefy bars of soap with scents a guy would like, and they couldn’t find any. Out of that frustration Burly Stone was born. Burly Stone, is the wingman for your shower! Also a Martha Stewart American Made 2015 Nominee.
Firefly Farms Farm raised right in North Stonington,CT Beth brings us Certified Humane chicken, pork & beef, bring the cooler and stock up!
The Funki Frog Creative hand painted wooden signs with many made from
reclaimed wood, great for a gift or add to your home decor.

Mystic Cheese Co. are back this week, freshly made in Lebanon, CT choose from their three delicious cheeses: Melinda Mae, Melville or Sea Change. Great for your summer picnics and entertaining.
Treefort Naturals Handcrafted Soap & cosmetic Guild professional member & certified soap maker.  These soaps are cold process and all natural, herbal salves, lip balm, salt scrubs, solid lotion, and gift soaps too.

Vendor Update: This week is the first week for Grant's Berry Patch who will be selling at the Market for the rest of the Season.
CT Artists Visiting Us this Week
We will have En Plen Air Artists spread out and about the Market painting on site. So far we have Zimra Sawyer, Betsy Schafer, Janice Silvers, Trent Youngs, and Garnet Wrigley attending.
