Squash Membership Sale

No Limits is offering a 10% discount on six and twelve month squash memberships.
 10% off the six-month rate: 375-10% = 337.50,
10% off the twelve-month rate: 525-10% = 472.50.

If you are likely to play more than once a week, having a membership is cheaper than using punch cards and allows you to book in advance and to play as much as you like during that time.

The offer is available until October 31;
see the front desk staff at No Limits for details.

Free Squash on September 30!

No Limits has been offering free access for their squash courts (and all of their facility) on Sundays in September to Kamloops locals - you just need to show id that you live in town and you can play for free.

So, this Sunday Sept 30 you can come out to play for free!
It's a great time to introduce a friend to squash as well (if you are wondering, 'what's this "friend" thing I keep hearing about?', perhaps try this video as a first step: "Casually Explained: Making New Friends").

If you would like to play and need to borrow gear or would like an intro or a refresher lesson, we can offer that for free as well - just send an email.

Local Squash Tourney Nov 2-4

The early-bird squash tourney has been rescheduled for Nov 2-4, 2018.

It's a casual tourney, with an emphasis on fun, with players at all levels (playing other players at their own level, in case anyone was wondering how it works... we try to match players up to ensure matches are close and no one is playing way up or below their level).

Entry fee is $40, which includes a minimum of three matches, pizza Friday, Saturday casual bbq, snacks, and door prizes.

Players can sign up online at sportyhq:

(any questions, email info@kamloopssquash.ca)

Fall Squash League

If you are interested in playing in the fall squash league, email us at info@kamloopssquash.ca and note whether you prefer Wed or Thurs evening or either. We may have room on a team and we certainly will need subs. League play will start in the first week of October.

League fees will be collected for the fall league and the winter league, $20 for either league. If you can't commit to playing weekly, we can list you as a sub if you are available to play some sessions.

TRU Student Squash

The TRUSU student squash club is still in development. In the meantime, we will offer coaching sessions for students on weekends, and we can help figure out transportation for students from campus to the courts and back if needed. The drop-in cost for students on weekends is $5, and the coaching and gear will be provided at no charge. Email us at info@kamloopssquash.ca if you are interested in coming to a session.

Women's Squash Drop-in

Women's drop-ins will be starting on Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8 pm.

Format: round-robin play, all levels welcome, coaching tips may be provided if needed. These sessions are especially targeted toward novice to intermediate players.
Racquets and eyeguards will be provided as needed, at no charge, by the KSA.

Last week, there were fifteen women taking part in the two free squash sessions for women in this year's women's squash week - many thanks to Alison and Kirsten for coaching, and to all those who came to play!

Box league

The box league is a good option for anyone who wants to get an extra game in here and there. Players are placed into groups (boxes) of 4-6 players. At the end of each session (usually monthly), the top 1-2 players move up, the bottom 1-2 move down, and the middle players remain in place.

The box league can be found here: https://www.sportyhq.com/club/box/view/303.

If you are interested in playing in the box league, send us an email at info@kamloopssquash.ca.
