New gym coming to Crooms AoIT

Crooms Academy of Information Technology (AOIT) hosted a construction groundbreaking for their gymnasium replacement project on Thursday, August 8, 2019. The focus of this construction groundbreaking was to showcase the new prototype gymnasium that will replace the existing gymnasium located on 13th Street in Sanford which was originally built in 1963.

Athletic grant program renewed for 2019-2020

The Crooms AoIT Alumni Association is pleased to announce the renewal of the Athletic Grants Program for the 2019-2020 school year. The renewed grant comes after long time Crooms AoIT Alumni Association supporter and Class of 2011 graduate Gregory Raymond expressed interest in providing financial support for program this year.

Alumni Association 2018-2019 financials released

We are pleased to present our FY19 consolidated income and balance sheet to provide full transparency into how your financial support is used. The Association's fiscal year runs from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019. In the financials, you can learn more about our fundraising and giving efforts - which included a grant to last year's BPA team on their road to national competition.

Register for the Crooms AoIT 5K now

Celebrate fall with an early morning run/walk along the shore of Lake Monroe and through the historic streets of downtown Sanford. Proceeds help fund Crooms Academy of Information Technology's athletic programs and scholarships for student athletes.

Tell us, Croomies: "Where are they now?"

Let us know how you are doing since graduating. Crooms AoIT is restarting the "Where are they now?" project. The project is looking to highlight the career successes of alumni as a way to promote academic success for current Croomies. A bulletin board or electronic display could be created to highlight where all of our alumni are and what they are doing, and respoonses could even support future Crooms AoIT marketing material. Participate now by taking 3 minutes or less to fill out the Where are they now? Google Form.
