Update on The Founders Society
Every three years, the Alumni Association searches for alumni who are looking to make a significant financial contribution to Crooms AoIT and invites them to join The Founders Society. Dr. Collins has also expressed support this year for The Founders Society's inaugural class, particularly with the budget cuts to education. We are pleased to report that SEVEN!!! individuals have already heeded the call to support Crooms AoIT by making over $1,500 in financial contributions. As we continue towards our goal of finding ten (10) Founders for this year's group, we hope you will take some time to consider joining The Founders Society. We also offer lower donor levels for those looking to make a smaller financial contribution. Thank you for your support, and be on the look out for news releases highlighting this year's members of The Founders Society.

Reynolds' Right Hands Update
Reynolds' Right Hands - the traffic safety advocacy group formed by Crooms AoIT students - incorporated as a non-profit entity this August. They are now working towards their 501(c)3 tax-exempt status. Reynolds' Right Hands was founded in 2009 after Crooms AoIT teacher Christy Reynolds was killed in a car crash where texting was suspected as the cause. The mission of RRH is to bring awareness of proper traffic safety practices and the dangers pertaining to distracted driving, and to advocate for stronger safety legislation. TTYL, or "Talk to you later", is the group's message when it comes to using a phone behind the wheel. You can learn more about the organization by visiting their Facebook page or website.
