Crooms AoIT Students Dominate in FCAT and End of Course Exam Results

The Florida Department of Education has released some FCAT and End of Course examination results. Crooms AoIT students have once again flexed their academic muscles by outperforming their peers in Seminole County Public Schools. Crooms AoIT's only competition in Seminole County proved to be Hagerty High School. The two schools largely traded places between who placed number one versus number two in the various rankings. Overall, Crooms AoIT students appear to have topped the rankings more than any SCPS school. Check out this news release to see all the rankings.

Marcus Upshire photoThe recipient of the 7th annual Crooms AoIT Alumni Association Community Scholarship is Marcus Upshire. Our review team was impressed with all of the applicants – however, we only have one scholarship to give. As we reviewed the applications, all of the students had unique strengths that made them excellent candidates: high GPAs, involvement in school activities, and various community involvement efforts. But, one student really stuck out for the diversity of their activities: Marcus Upshire. Read the full news release to learn more about about Marcus.

John Amirrezvani

John Amirrezvani: Why did you decide to become a member of The Founders Society?

I believe in the scholarship the Crooms AoIT Alumni Association offers and the opportunity it provides to a graduating senior. I also believe in the community feeling that being a Crooms AoIT alumni provides. We may not be local anymore, but there this community and I do think there are benefits and connections are gained from being part of the Crooms community. - Read more about John
