As we end our 31st year, we want to thank you for being a part of advancing sustainability in our community and the world. You are an important part of the success that we share.
- If you’d like to help support us in 2018 * here are a few ways to provide youth leadership training, habitat restoration, carbon sequestration, GIS mapping, and water resource protection.  Help kids, trees, animals, education, and the planet!

Support our information services!
Our GIS mapping provides important information to our municipality and health clinic, as well as forest cover reference material for researchers.

To support this program, we need drone equipment and training.  Check “Support sustainable decisions using GIS information”  on the donation form.
Plant a tree (or a forest)!
We planted over 8,000 trees last year.  Help us plant a whole new forest next year with our goal of 12,000 trees in many species. You’ll be offsetting your carbon emissions at the same time (6 trees, $30, compensates for a 6000 mile flight)!

Check “Support the plant with reforestation and carbon sequestration” on the donation form.

Empower a teenager!
Our leadership training program and youth camp empowers our young adults to be proactive in their community and the world!  Any local young adult can participate in our program and we need your help to make this possible.  Enrollment costs $365 per person but any amount provides this opportunity. As we want all community members to be able to participate, we only charge them $20 and we sponsor the rest. Check “Support youth leadership training” on the donation form. Last year we had 41 happy campers and 8 amazing team leaders.
Provide Clean Water!
Our Adopt-a-Stream program takes students out of their high school classroom to the rivers for water quality testing and riparian biology education.  Students report back to the community with their findings.  We also build rain gardens to slow down excess water run off (decreasing erosion and stream sedimentation) and build bio-gardens to treat household gray water before it can pollute our rivers.

Support “Clean water conservation and education” on our donation form.
*Donations in the USA and Costa Rica are tax deductible.
Once more, thank you for believing in us and the in the work we do, your support is important to us!
