Old Games Eve
It's time for some good ol' rooty-tooty point and shooty. A few years ago, Quake Live came out and made a bit of a spash, but likely not enough to warrant just how stellar it truly is. Standing firmly on the shoulders of it's predecessor, Quake 3 Arena, the game has quite a lot going for it. It is free to play, only takes 10 minutes to install, and works at full screen resolution running just off your browser.
From a coding stance, it's quite an impressive leap in gaming technology to be able to run a game off a browser. From a gaming perspective, I do not know of a more intense game than Quake to feature at our next 'Old Games Eve' event. It's going to be sheer chaos.
