We’re thrilled to launch an in-person concert season with an intergenerational community collaboration designed to celebrate our emergence out of the pandemic. We join in song with over 100 singers on the stage from the Guelph Chamber Choir, Guelph Youth Singers, Rainbow Chorus and University of Guelph Choirs. (Harcourt United Church)
Nov 27/22 A Christmas Story
Our annual family-friendly tradition with special guests from the Guelph Guild of Storytellers, weaving stories, choral selections, and sing-along carols. A joyous start to the festive holiday season. (Harcourt United Church) Presented by Knar Jewellery.
Dec 17/22 Handel’s Messiah
Handel’s monumental oratorio offers a message of hope and renewal that is especially fitting for this season of rejuvenation. Guelph’s “favourite Messiah” features a chamber orchestra, guest soloists, and some special guests (River Run Centre)
Mar 26/23 A Choral Vigil for Peace
A collaboration with Toronto’s Amadeus Choir featuring excerpts from Rachmaninoff’s beloved All Night Vigil sung in Russian; a commission by composer Ian Cusson who is of Métis and French- Canadian descent; and a powerful new work by Latvian composer Ugis Praulins, The Way Children Sleep.(Guelph’s Basilica of Our Lady). Presented by Insitu.
