FLASH alternative enigmas Works on paper & objects by Karen Kaese  Opening Fri 17 April 6-9pm

Russell Craig  will open the show at 7:30pm He is the Senior Lecturer Fine Art Griffith University. With a special performance by the Manus Island Dancers. Until April 27  12-5pm Ph 0421495850
The show explores the artists Melanesian background to explore themes of transience & transformation
through the practice of Bilas & a focus on states of hybrid identity.

Impress Gallery
What a year 2015 is shaping up to be. The Impress Gallery is set to host several unique shows. We started the year with 'Three Bats In Waiting' a woodblock & monoprint based series of works by Canadian artist Juliana Joos. As part of the show she will be offering a workshop on 18th & 19th April so sign up quick as places are limited. Ever wanted to work in galleries & need experience? Life in Parana Road Paula Quintela @ Bosz Gallery Fortitude Valley  Opening Fri 17 April 6.30 - 9pm.  This show explores the discovery of old family photographs upon the death of the artists mother.  

 
Kristina Hall's presentation at Redcliffe Art Gallery was a resounding success. Many people were pleased to find out about the Impress Studio & Gallery. Kristina talked about printmaking as well as our studios inception as an arts facility to complement the exhibition of George Baldessins print's & drawings.

Juliana Joos Woodblock Monoprints
We are excited to present Juliana's workshop & invite you to participate in this unique two day event. You will be taught to create a series of monotypes in a sequential manner using the woodcut techniques of inking and engraving but also painting, stencils and paper cutting and tearing. Think of the possibilites & come along to produce a series for your portfolio. Bookings direct deposit preferred here.
