Ken Blank has great experience as a vice president at 3 major universities and is a leader in creating high-impact, sustainable use-inspired research programs, resulting in solutions to national problems through technology development and commercialization.

In line with our constant mission to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in the innovation space, we are proud to announce that we have taken the USIPA's Increasing Diversity in Innovation Pledge.

This pledge focuses on providing utilizes best practices, data, and research from academia, corporations and nonprofits designed to help companies better integrate and incorporate underrepresented inventors into their innovation ecosystems, leading to demonstrable and measurable results.

NAI Fellow Sally Kornbluth has been named as the 18th President of the NAI Member Institution Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She previously served as Provost at NAI Member Institution Duke University where she has been a champion of diversity and innovation. NAI Fellow S Joe Qin has been named as President of Lingnan University. He currently serves as Director of the Hong Kong Institute for Data Science at NAI Member Institution City University of Hong Kong. Read about his appointment and when he'll take the helm at Lingnan University.
Santokh Badesha, FNAI of the NAI Member Institution Purdue University has been awarded the Mountbatten Medal for developing materials enabling the broad use of laser printing and the creation of color laser printing. Read more about the award and how his inventions have shaped the era of digital printing on demand.
Tejal Desai, FNAI, of the NAI Member Institution Brown University recently sat down with the Association for Women in Science to be featured in their fall issue of AWIS Magazine.

This month for our Sustainer Spotlight, we are proud to feature Sustaining Member Institution University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln holds a week-long celebration of research and innovation at the school every year. This year's event took place November 14-18. The week kicked off with an awards ceremony honoring UNL innovators and their innovations. Read more about the celebration.
