Dear <<First Name>>,

See also below for Payment Details / West Wales Champs / Guests.

You'll hopefully have found arrangements for Saturday's John H Collins Gwent Cross-Country League fixture at Pembrey here.  In addition, host club Carmarthen Harriers have provided an excellent guide to the event (including photos from last time) here.

Please study these carefully, because some things have changed, for example catering options and paying for parking in the car park.  Please park in the correct car parks as marked on the map (we don't want any more wheel clamping at this fixture!)

There will be a Traditional Christmas Fayre outside of the Visitor Centre & Restaurant building from 10am to 4pm.  This features a a selection of crafts and local produce stalls along with entertainment and The Alpaca Sanctuary.

Payment
Please continue to pay for all your club runners in a single payment for each fixture, using one of these methods:
•    BACS (Gwent Cross Country League, sort code 51-61-15, a/c, 11023775, Nat West, Reference <Club Name> FEES). Please send a confirmation email (including club name and amount paid) to e.r.sherwood@btinternet.com.
•    Cheque by post to Roland Sherwood, Glenside, Clarbeston Road, Pembrokeshire SA63 4SD.  If not drawn from a club account, please write the club name on the back.
•    Dropping off a cheque on the day (there will be a separate desk at registration for payments),

Please do NOT pay by cash, which is harder to keep account of. Entries cost £4 per senior, and £1 per junior (including U20s), and the numbers participating from each club will be posted on the Clubs Page a few days after each match.

The West Wales Cross-Country Championships
Saturday's event incorporates the West Wales Cross-Country Championships.  Gwent League clubs based in West Wales should already know about this, and declare and complete results envelopes in the normal way.

West Wales clubs who are NOT normally part of the Gwent League please declare and pay (same rates as above) for their runners at a separate desk at registration.  Collect team envelopes at registration (even if there is only 1 in a 'team'), and complete and return them with finishers disks in as described here.

Guests
Runners who happen to be in the area visiting friends or for work, who are always welcome to participate as guests.

If you live in Gwent League catchment but are not part of a league club, we strongly encourage you to join an affiliated club, or encourage your club to affiliate, rather than competing as a guest.

Guests are charged £5 for seniors/£1 for juniors, which must be paid when entering.(unlike affiliated clubs who pay separately, as described above).  Please take an envelope at registration, and complete and return it your finishers disk as described here.

I hope you have a great day on Saturday.

Regards,
Neil
