Dear <<First Name>>,

I've been fielding a few queries, so just to confirm arrangements for tomorrow.

We'll be organising the Cardiff Gwent League in exactly the same way as last season.  Please drop off your declaration sheets (with all GL participants named) at registration and pick up envelopes as appropriate.  No need to pay (although you can drop off Cheques if convenient <not cash>), you'll be charged for participants and affiliation fees in retrospect.  Finishers disks go in the envelope with names on the outside, which goes in the correct (senior or junior=U11 to U20) box at the finish.  Full details are on the website.

We'll be handing out disks to everyone who finishes (so that times can be matched correctly against places), but non-league Cardiff Cross runners will pop their disks into a bucket by the end of the funnel.  Please emphasise (especially to younger participants) that your runners need to keep hold of their disks and give them to their team manager (whether or not they are entered in the Cardiff X).  No disk = not in Gwent League results.

The one difference is that the organisers would like everyone who runs to wear a Cardiff Cross 'number' (except there won't be a number on it) to promote their event. Please pick these up at registration, and you'll need to provide your own pins.

Starting from the second fixture, we plan to introduce online registration to expedite the results.  Details will follow, but please make sure all team managers are aware of this, and ideally on this mailing list.

2021-22 League T-Shirts
Individuals can pick up uncollected 2021-22 Gwent League T-Shirts earned from last season at the registration tent (see website for details).  Those who earn a T-Shirt tomorrow must wait until the second fixture.  Sorry.

2021-22 Medals
If you're lucky, our awards officer Russ will bring these round to your tent in person.  Otherwise, uncollected medals from 2021-22 can be collected by a club representative from the registration tent.  NB It's easier if you collect all medals for your club and distribute them yourselves.

Regards,
Neil
