IPMA-IACS Summer Golf Outing and Clay Shoot
PASS’ Raymond Rees, David King, and John Wright participated in the Illinois Petroleum Marketers Association-Illinois Association of Convenience Stores (
IPMA-IACS) Summer Golf Outing and Clay Shoot on Wednesday, July 17, 2013. The event was held at the University of Illinois Golf Course in Savoy, Illinois. It was a hot day (93º at least) but our guys had a lot of fun. Here’s a picture of the PASS team with IPMA Executive Vice President Bill Fleischli, Sr.

EPA’s Proposed UST Regulations Revisions
We’ve heard about the EPA’s proposed revisions to its UST regulations (40 CFR 280), but it’s difficult to keep all of that information straight. Robert Renkes, Executive Vice President of the Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI), has a helpful article in the First Quarter 2012 issue of
PEI Journal, which you can read
here. In the article, Renkes details the history of UST regulations in the United States from 1984 to the present. He also explains the proposed new/updated requirements, their potential benefits, and possible challenges companies may face in implementing them.
2013 Sunshine Food & Fuel Expo
PASS attended the
2013 Sunshine Food & Fuel Expo. Thanks to Adam Lauth and Marathon for having us as a preferred vendor at their booth. We enjoyed our productive conversations with the Florida Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association, the Asian American Store Owners Association, JMP Solutions, and McKinney Petroleum Equipment. We look forward to next year's show.
