2014 started out as the wettest we can ever remember. Weeks of rain seemed to fall at The Quiet Site though strangely hardy any snow fell.
Our new Biomass boiler manged extreamly well with the heating load and our bar, cottages and services have never been as warm.
We have made a conscious effort this year to engage more musicians to play in the bar and have a fairly exciting line up - see below.
As ever we all look forward to welcoming you to The Quiet Site this year.
The lovely pictures at the top and bottom of this newsletter were taken by Ed Fuller.. thank you!

Long Stay Pitches for Tourer

We are part of the Premier Parks group this year.
In February we were awarded a top 100 place in Britains holiday parks as voted by readers of Caravan and Motorcaravan monthly. Thank you !
Last month we retained our Gold staus in the Green Tourism award scheme - the only Cumbrian park ever to achieve this ever. We continue to strive to be as sustainable as possible in our approach to business. With a blend of Solar and biomass water heating, reed bed water treatment, both recycled water and waste operations, pv electricity, water and electricity saving devices, we must be one of the greenest parks in the land.
Doing the right thing does not have to affect quality!
We always have a few different options covering the spring, summer and Autumn for long stay tourers.
Having a long stay pitch at The Quiet Site is a natural progression from being a regular visitor or having your caravan stored by the Lakes Caravan Storage and sited with us at your convenience.
