10 reasons
why you should visit
The Quiet Site

Reason 1
(and the most important one)
We are one of the greenest holiday parks in Britain.  We use the latest green technologies so you can enjoy your holiday safe in the knowledge that we are taking care of our planet.

Reason 2
We have a huge selection of holiday accomodation types: Luxury Cottages, Glamping Cabins, Holiday Homes, Hobbit Holes, Camping Pods, Bell Tents, all weather serviced Touring Pitches and serviced Camping Pitches.  WiFi at 5Mb/s freely available on all pitches.

Reason 3
We have the Best Holiday Park Bar in Britain. Our famous bar is open every night of the year and serves excellent ales at incredibly reasonable prices (£3.50/pint). Regular live music and magic.

Reason 4
We have the friendliest (and probably coolest) team of Holiday Park Professionals in the business. Introducing Sarah, Emily, Jen, Charlotte, Anne, Ruth, Judy,  Peter, Mark, Mel, Owen, Jack and George..!

Reason 5
We are situated in one of the most idyllic parts of Britain  - the Ullswater valley. Stunning scenery at every turn. Why would you choose to holiday anywhere else?

Reason 6
One of the Lake Districts very best walks starts at our holiday park; The circular walk takes in Aira Force Waterfalls.  Allow 4 to 5 hours to do this amazing trek with views you will never forget. Suitable for the whole family.

Reason 7
We have just opened the UK's very first Zero Waste Shop on a holiday park. Relax and enjoy your holiday knowing that we are doing everything we can to eliminate single use plastic from our operation.  We are not just talking the talk.. we're walking the walk..!

Reason 8
We were the ONLY holiday park to make THE TIMES 'Coolest Places to Stay' list in 2019. They must know something!

Reason 9
The Ullswater valley is packed full of activities for everyone. You could learn to  paddleboard, sail or canoe, go wild swimming or ghyll scrambling, hire an ebike and cycle to the largest medieval parkland in England complete with its own castle.   Or you could go on an awesome cruise on boats that have been carrying passengers around Ullswater for 160 years..!. Have a look out for England's largest red deer herd,  go for a fell run or just go for a walk..!
