Dear Shake It Up Supporter,

As the end of year approaches we are looking forward to sharing with you some exciting news about our new Australian Parkinson's research projects.  Also this month Shake It Up was delighted to participate in an international research day, hosted by the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, and attended by leading Australian Parkinson's researchers together with Brian Fiske from The Michael J. Fox Foundation.

Don't forget to tune into ABC Four Corners at 8.30pm on Monday 21st.  In this powerful documentary titled  "A Sense of Self" acclaimed TV Journalist Liz Jackson shares her story of living with Parkinson's.

In the meantime we hope you enjoy this issue of the Shake It Update which includes new drug developments, information on cognitive decline and the latest fundraising efforts by our heroes.

You can learn more about how to get involved on our website here>

Until next time.
