MOE Trailer Organizing Event - WE NEED YOUR HELP!
On Saturday, November 19, at 9:00 am, we would like to invite any volunteers who are able to join us at Church of the Shepherd (St. Charles) parking lot. As you may or may not know, MOE Emmaus has a trailer of supplies that is housed on this lot. It has been a great while since we have gone through that trailer to get an inventory, keeping what is still needed, and discarding what is no longer needed. PILGRIM DISCOUNT FOR THE SPRING 2023 WALKS
If you are considering sponsoring a Pilgrim for the the spring 2023 walks, the Missouri East Walk to Emmaus will be giving a $50 discount for any Pilgrim who registers or has been registered by their sponsor along with the required deposit BY VALENTINE'S DAY, 2023. Sponsors, please share this information with prospective spring Pilgrims!
Face to Face Event 
In 2017, MOE Walk to Emmaus had its first Face to Face event hosted by Church of the Shepherd. Face to Face is specifically crafted to meet the needs and life-stages of older adults. The program seeks to invite men and women, ages 60 and older, to experience Jesus through a 4- or 8-session journey, covering subjects such as discipleship, mission, grief, and end-of-life issues. The highly flexible schedule allows participants the freedom to engage in structured Bible study and prayer in a church setting or other community space. We are reaching out to see you your church might be interested in hosting another Face-to-Face event. Remember, it does not run for three simultaneous days as a Walk would. It also does not require overnight stays at your church as it is held during the day.
