Welcome to the winter edition of the Rotherham Theatre’s Newsletter

It may be cold outside, but there are lots of great shows to keep you entertained over the next few months. 
 

Pantomime season is well and truly underway. This year’s panto Aladdin, is proving to be huge hit and has already entertained young and old alike. Starring Mark Labbett “The Beast” from the ITV game show ‘The Chase’ as the evil Abanazar and comedian Ricky K as Aladdin, yule not want to miss it. With over 20,000 tickets already sold, book now to avoid disappointment. 

Aladdin runs until 11th January – catch it before it flies out of the Civic Theatre!

NEW SEASON SHOWS
A MAGICAL EVENING OF MOZART

Wednesday 4 February - 7.30pm 

Be immersed by the wonderful music of one of the world’s greatest composers Wolfgang Mozart. With beautiful settings, costumes and lighting, and of course candles, the European Baroque Ensemble and Singers will be performing excerpts from Mozart’s Operas such as: The Magic Flute, The Marriage Of Figaro, Così Fan Tutte, and many more.

JURASSIC ADVENTURE

Follow the footsteps of Doctor Grant’s team of explorers and laugh at their crazy antics as they search for proof that Dinosaurs still exist. This Dino-Mite show will leave you in “pre-hysterics!”

Barron Knights

They are back - by popular demand! The Barron Knights are probably the most entertaining group to come out of the 60s and 70s. The group are well known for their excellent musicianship, harmonies and of course, their humour.
