"Far as the Curse is Found"

Very rarely does blessing just fall down from heaven. Usually, it comes from a person. God blesses people through people. We have been blessed BY others to be a blessing TO others. The same is true for the curse. The curse came through a man and as a result, people curse other people, and the curse grows and expands as humanity continues to war and rage against each other across color, culture and class lines. But God does something about this curse. He breaks all lines and comes down from heaven as a real person in the person of Jesus to "make his blessings flow far as the curse is found" and ignite a movement of people eager to do what is good who boldly proclaim to this world in word and deed: "no more let sin or sorrow grow!" That's who we are in Christ, God's beloved kids joining Him in blessing the hell out of this world that tries to curse us... We join Jesus in reversing the curse by blessing people...
If you have read thus far in this end of the year update letter, my prayer is that everything that follows will bless you and perpetuate more blessings through you to all those God has allowed you to share life with on this planet as you go into 2020. Henri Nouwen writes:

"'As I grow older, I discover more and more that the greatest gift I have to offer is my own joy of living, my own inner peace, my own silence and solitude, my own sense of well-being. When I ask myself, 'Who helps me the most?' I must answer, 'The one who is willing to share his or her life with me.'"

We are so grateful for you and how you have shared your life with us in 2019. You are a blessing and we love that God has aligned our lives with yours in some type of way to make us all more like Jesus and bring forth hints of His Kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven.

Till all is restored,
The Iverson Fam

Iverson Family Update
Above is a video of Trinity singing the National Anthem for Whitefield's Highschool Varsity Basketball game... Our three oldest have been blessed to attend Whitefield Academy, a Christ-Centered somewhat diverse prep school 15 minutes away. They are flourishing in very challenging academics, sports (cross country and basketball) and music. We are so grateful for God's provision through scholarships and financial aid that allows them to have such quality education.
Over Thanksgiving, we traveled to Virginia (9 hours drive) for a family reunion. All nine Iverson siblings and most of the cousins (minus the Bangladesh 6) were present. It was an amazing time loving each other and having fun.
From Virginia, we headed to Kitty Hawk in OBX, NC (7 more hours) for a reunion with Kimberly's dad and brother. We had 4 great days of cold ocean play, good food, daddy and mommy dates and board games...
From there we made the drive back to Atlanta (9 more hours) just in time for Danny to Preach Sunday morning. We are grateful for safe travels and such an amazing family to cherish and grow with. Thanks to our friends (you know who you are), who helped us fuel our 12 passenger gas-drinking van to make this trip possible!
Danny's Health Journey...
One of Danny's friends, BJ Thompson, started a holistic health ministry called the 45 Day Total Transformation Challenge. Danny finally committed and it not only helped him lose 20 lbs but is transforming his relationship to food. He's continuing on the challenge and inviting anyone who wants to join him to sign up for the next 45 day cycle starting January 7th! Click below for more info!
Another Book is being released this year and we need your help!

This is a prayer devotional we have been working on the last 5 years called: "Pray Shalom - Longing for peace in a world of chaos." It's a 21-day journey filled with scripture meditations, reflections, prayers, and action steps to equip God's people to seek the Shalom (nothing-broken-nothing-missing peace) of the Kingdom of God here and now where we live, work and play. Most of the material will appear on our blog each morning for 21 days beginning Monday, January 6th, 2020. Please subscribe to the blog here, share with others and comment so we have feedback before we publish it as a book hopefully sometime this summer.
We Praise God for all the support that has come in to support our growing family as we lead Restore Life. Thank you all so much for your faithful prayers and giving in 2019. Our account took some hits but we are right around 75% of the way there in monthly recurring donors supporting us. God is always making a way each month and we are grateful to see His hand of provision. If you would like to join our support team please visit:

Restore Life
We continue to grow and expand in our leadership and impact, and through our Restoration Agent team consisting of 13 individuals leading various ministries. Whether it's clothing, feeding the displaced, mixed martial arts, community surveys, or the studio, this dynamic group of leaders continues to develop and do amazing things that bless our community. Stay tuned for The Restoration Report coming out in January detailing all the activity and impact of 2019.
This year's 4th annual  Grove Park Christmas Outreach had its greatest impact yet. Nearly 150 parents representing 700 plus kids were empowered to bless their children with quality gifts. Many struggling parents feel powerless at Christmas time, and so we developed this outreach four years ago to restore some of the dignity that gets compromised often in families during what is supposed to be a season of joy. Not only did thousands of gifts get distributed, but multiple families about to be evicted or have their lights cut off where assisted, and one of the fathers in need of work was able to get connected to a job. The Love of God for people was apparent through the 60 plus volunteers (2/3rds from our community) who sacrificially gave of their time and resources to make this outreach a reality.
Restoration Studios continues to grow. We are anticipating training over 60 youth this spring semester in audio engineering and production. We are grateful for the many mentors faithfully serving and pouring themselves into the next generation of artists, engineers and producers.
The Sunday Night Evolve experience has continued to expand, reaching millennials in an effective way with the gospel. So much deliverance and life change happening in these young people and we are encouraged as we learn to go deeper into God's Word together.  If you are in ATL, come on by Sunday nights at 7:00 pm and experience it!

One of the highlights of the work are the various leadership development workshops Restore Life helps facilitate for community leaders. As our team continues to grow we recognize the need for our leaders to go the next level. We work on vision, mission, values, marketing, fundraising, program development as well as emotional health and wellness for our leaders.
Meet Pink! She's one of the Restoration Agents who signed on in 2019 and is doing an amazing ministry with clothing to restore dignity through fashion for those in most need in our community. She came out of homelessness herself and has now developed a ministry that is having an amazing impact on hundreds of residents each month. Her heart is to see people come alive as they experience the love of Christ. She also has a team of 6 young ladies (Her Pink Diamonds) whom she mentors and is training to run the ministry (My daughters are two of the six)

Bishop Larry Corker (Board member) and Hammond McEver (Youth Development Director) in partnership with Kingdom University, launched Thrive Academy this past fall. This school has been reaching deep into the lives of its students and provides an alternative Christian School option for kids in our community.
They are in the process of accreditation and qualify for redirected state tax funds through Georgia GOAL. If you live in Georgia you can redirect your business state taxes (up to $10,000) or your personal state taxes (up to $2500) toward the school. This is an amazing program and a great way for this school to be funded without solely relying on donations. To learn more and fill out Thrive's form go:
Ministry costs money. Your investment in Restore Life goes a long way to bless many leaders pouring their lives into other people's lives and together with our neighbors and partners, transforming the quality of life in our community.
Consider giving to support this mission. We grew 20% in 2019 and are looking to continue to expand our impact as we develop new effective ministries in other parts of Atlanta.

As many of you know, Danny has taken on a preaching assignment at Grace Church of all Nations in Stone Mountain (East Atlanta). This precious multicultural PCA Church had lost their pastor and many members and is in the process of re-envisioning and re-launching their ministry. Danny has been privileged to help lead them through this process by doing what he loves most - preaching the Gospel and Mission of God!
