It's premiere week! This weekend, we'll be traveling to Austin, Texas, for LIVESTRONG'S annual Ride for the Roses weekend and we're thrilled and honored that the grand finale of the weekend will be the world premiere of our first documentary, "Conquering Kilimanjaro." The film tells the stories of 16 men and women, including four cancer survivors, who traveled to Africa to send a message of support to the world's 32 million cancer survivors by climbing the world's tallest free-standing mountain.

This project has been a labor of love. The climbers included Growing Bolder's Marc Middleton and Wendy Chioji and Growing Bolder contributor and film Executive Producer Robert Masson, M.D. This film is the first production from Bolder Docs, documentaries that change lives. See below to learn more about our Florida premiere (which you're invited to!) and you can order your copy of the DVD now!

Swimming history was made this weekend at the 6th Annual Rowdy Gaines Masters Classic. Never before has a relay team competed in U.S. Masters Swimming in the 360+ age group. The team of Edwin Graves, 91, Tiger Holmes, 93, John Corse, 90 and William Adams, 88 (total age 362) set world records in the short course 800 meter free relay, 200 meter medley relay and 200 meter free relay. This amazing team also won the Growing Bolder Rowdy Gaines Inspiration Award. We are producing a video on their achievement and can’t wait to share it with you. Here’s the fearsome foursome with Rowdy Gaines and GB CEO Marc Middleton, both of whom also competed in the meet. In fact, Marc even set a new national record in the 25 meter freestyle, in the 60-64 age group, with a time of 11.79.
