Second-grader Vivienne Harr was so moved by a photo of child slaves that she decided to make a stand. She opened a "lemon-aid" stand outside her home and in less than one year, this 9-year-old has started a global movement and her Make A Stand Lemon-Aid has raised nearly a million dollars. Late last week, our good friend, musician Bob Rafkin died peacefully following a long battle with cancer. If you never got the chance to listen to him perform, check out Bill Shafer's beautiful feature story on Bob's path from Greenwich Village in the '60s to LA, where he played with some of the all-time greats and had his songs covered by bands like The Byrds. Bob was a true treasure and his voice and heart will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with his friends and family.
