WEEKEND WARRIOR
TEAM GB ON TOP

Each Monday, we salute a Weekend Warrior on our Facebook page, and for this week's pick, we only had to look across the room to our fearless leader, Growing Bolder Founder and CEO Marc Middleton. At a U.S. Masters Swimming long-course event this past weekend, Marc (pictured, above, at the event with fellow swimmers Matthew Vinson, left, and Ross Behlken, center) won a number of events but most notably, he swam the 50 free in 26.75 seconds -- the fastest time in the WORLD this year in the 60-64 age group. Marc's time would have given him first place at Worlds in Italy last month AND first place at the USMS Nationals in Omaha this month. And while we're bragging, Marc's 50 free time was the fastest in the meet this weekend, of ALL AGES, proving that it's not about age, it'd about attitude. Join us in congratulating Marc!

ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE?

Since kicking off the Healthy 100 Executive Challenge last month, we've been thrilled to hear from executives and employees sharing their workplace wellness stories. We've set up a section on our new Executive Challenge website called Your Stories. It's your chance to tell us what you and your company do to stay active. This week's submission comes from Kathy Pierson, President and Founder of Kathy Pierson Communications. She tells us that as a leader, staying healthy creates a healthy work environment. She also says that exercise and a healthy atmosphere is good physically and mentally for all employees and boosts morale, which in the long run is good for everyone in the workplace. Click here to find out how she is leading by example. Then, sign up for the Challenge yourself!
