STAND UP TO CANCER, STAND UP FOR WENDY

On Friday night, Sept. 5th, Stand Up To Cancer holds its star-studded multi- network telecast to raise funds and bring awareness to the fight against cancer. The program airing live on all networks at 8:00 pm EST provides a national forum to engage the public in supporting research that is helping more patients become long- term survivors.

We are standing up for cancer and we are holding up our dear friend and colleague Wendy Chioji who has recurrent Thymic Carcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer for which there are few treatment options. Wendy and her doctors believe that her best hope is to get into a clinical trial.

Wendy is a cancer warrior who has stood up to cancer for more than a decade, personally raising more than a quarter million dollars to support the fight. Her biggest passion has been as an advocate for clinical trials and gaining access to those trials for those in need.

Help us Stand Up To Cancer by standing up for Wendy and helping her raise awareness about the importance of clinical trials.
