February is American Heart Month -- a time to celebrate survivors of heart disease and heart attacks and to look at lifestyle changes we can all make to live healthier, happier and longer lives.

Kimberly Ward lived with a hole in her heart for 40 years, never realizing it was there until it was almost too late. An eye doctor actually diagnosed her based upon temporary bouts with blindness. Kimberly underwent open heart surgery and now is thrilled to know she can be active again and here to raise her young daughter.
