Jekka's Charitable Open Days:
Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th August

On the first weekend in August we are pleased to be hosting our annual charitable Open Days
  • Saturday 3rd August 2019 - RHS Open Day
  • Sunday 4th August 2019 - National Garden Scheme Open Day
Both days have a charitable £5 entry charge with all proceeds going to the RHS Apprenticeship scheme (free entry for RHS members) and the NGS chosen charities, on their respective days.

Our Open days are a wonderful opportunity to explore the farm and Jekka's Herbetum; our collection of over 400 culinary herbs. Jekka will be hosting tours or a talk (depending on the weather) at 11am and 2pm. Our friendly team of horticulturists and herb enthusiasts will also be on hand to help you pick out the right herbs for your garden or project. Come and enjoy a treat in our Herb-based cafe that will be serving a light lunch, selection of cakes and herbal infusions.

At Jekka's we celebrate the use of herbs in food and, as anyone who has been to one of our Open Days or Master Classes knows, we strongly advocate the benefits of herbs beyond just being a garnish. To complement our Food Master Classes we are amassing a growing online collection of our favourite herb-based recipes that you can explore here
