At this free training and community building session, you will learn about:
  • Immigration matters 
    • Labour market impact assessments, work permits, permanent residency applications, status regularization, and more. 
  • Employment matters
    • Employment standards, health and safety rights, human rights complaints, workers compensation and more.
  • Access to social services
    • Healthcare, Employment Insurance, Housing, Pensions and more.
We will also be discussing ways to strengthen relationships and build networks in the region to support migrant workers, and share information on advocacy campaign underway in Ontario and Canada.
