Join our Adaptation Learning Exchange
Applications are open for public sector organisations to enter our Adaptation Learning Exchange - a peer to peer mentoring programme running from June till December. The scheme will take the “Five Steps to Managing your Climate Risks” approach as it's starting point and offer practitioners a unique opportunity to share adaptation-related challenges and develop shared solutions. The aim is to increase individual and collective resilience of organisations in Scotland.
Focus will be on how to:
- communicate adaptation and build the business case;
- embed adaptation in existing organisational processes; and
- overcome barriers and share experiences.
We are looking for organisations and individuals that are motivated to change their practices and take action. In return the scheme offers participants the very best scientific evidence and organisational best practice to get started.

The report’s authors say a successful balance can be achieved with clear policy direction, committed and informed staff, knowledge, and of course money.
