Picnic at the Puppet Theatre

The marquee and gazebos are being prepared, workshop materials sorted, and blankets dusted down - yes its time for third Picnic at the Puppet Theatre event.
Come and join us tomorrow - Saturday 31 May - for one of the sessions 11am-1pm or 2pm-4pm and enjoy performances by Garlic Theatre, Sokobauno Theatre as well as Norwich Puppet Theatre, make a puppet in the drop-in workshop and to keep you going you can buy a hot-dog or piece of cake ... or bring your own picnic along.

A 1960's Cheltenham Fawn Caravan magically transformed into a travelling puppet theatre. Sokobauno perform wonderful puppetry for all the family in an intimate setting with just 15 people in the tiny auditorium.


Garlic Theatre - Can Fish Drink Tea?

The watery adventures of a submarine in the street, a fish in a cup of tea and the little tragedy of a teabag. A new outdoor show from Garlic Theatre with animated objects and bizarre puppets. Can Fish Drink Tea?, directed by Jean Christophe Canivet of Theatre d’Illusia, uses imagery, puppet animation, clowning and live music to encourage imaginative play.
