Karen Emmerich. There will also be a special video appearance from Scott Sherman!


JOSH COOK is a bookseller at Porter Square Books who grew up in Lewiston, Maine. An Exaggerated Murder is his first novel. He is the blogger for Porter Square's website and a popular figure on Twitter.                                           

KAREN EMMERICH is the translator of The Scapegoat by Sophia Nikolaidou, which will be published by Melville House in February 2015. She is an Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature at the University of Oregon.                                           

SCOTT SHERMAN is the author of Patience and Fortitude: Power, 
Real Estate, and the Fight to Save a Public Library. He is a contributing writer for The Nation and a contributing editor of the Columbia Journalism Review and was given the Blue Ribbon Award for Public Advocacy by Design Observer in 2012 for his reporting on the New York Public Library.  

After the title presentations, join the publishers, editors,
and our featured authors for a glass of wine and snacks.
