4th Consultation Liaison Psychiatry and Psychosomatics Workshop
You are cordially invited to attend the 4th Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and Psychosomatics Workshop, taking place 6-8 November 2014 in Berlin, under EPA Patronage.
Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry is an important clinical field at the interface of psychiatric and somatic medicine, in the general hospital, as well as in primary care.
This workshop will bring together specialists from all over Europe and it aims to teach basic knowledge, as well as clinical tools for diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with somato-psychic comorbidity.
EPA Contributes to Horizon 2020 Research Priorities
On 23 May 2014, a CNS Research in Horizon 2020 - Consultation meeting was held with the European Brain Council and the European Commission. It focused on research priorities. EPA President Professor Danuta Wasserman and EPA Past President Professor Patrice Boyer were present to contribute on behalf of EPA.
EPA Comments European Statements of Hospital Pharmacy
The statements were prepared not only by pharmacists but also by patients and sister professions. On this occasion, the EPA was pleased to be able to provide feedback on the statements in writing to the EAHP.
The outcomes of the Summit will allow EAHP and its members to achieve continuous and long-lasting improvement in hospital pharmacy services in every participating European country.
EPA Leaders to Meet in Stockholm
On the 15-16 of June 2014, the EPA President, Professor Danuta Wasserman will host EPA Leaders in Stockholm at the Swedish Medical Society, for various committee meetings. The first meeting to take place will be the Ambassador Committee which will be followed by the EPA Board meeting on 15 June. The Board will look at strategic questions such as the creation of an EPA branch in Brussels, the development of a 2015-2016 Action Plan and the refinement of EPA policies and procedures.
On 16 June, the EPA 2015 ViennaScientific Programme Committee will come together to examine and decide upon the numerous symposium, workshop and Academia Educational Course proposals received for EPA 2015 Vienna.
