5th EPA Academia Summer School

Apply by 10 March!

Only two weeks are left to apply for the 5th EPA Academia Summer School on “Comorbidity between Mental and Physical Disorders”, which will take place on 10-13 July 2015 in Strasbourg, France. Note down the dates!

The Summer School is tailored for psychiatrists and other medical specialists, who are either trainees or within 2 years of completion of specialist training, and who are residing in a country that forms part of the WHO Europe region.

1st EPA Forum

EPA Members, sign up now!


The 1st EPA Forum “Improving Mental Health and Mental Health Care across Europe” will take place on Saturday, 28 March 2015, 9:00-13:00 in Vienna, Austria, as part of the 23rd European Congress of Psychiatry.

The EPA Forum is a new format which will be introduced at each annual EPA Congress. It will bring together EPA Council of National Society/Association (NPA) members and invited EPA Individual Members with European NPAs that are not yet EPA members and European organisations, stakeholders and policy makers in the field of Mental Health and Mental Health Care, in order to present and discuss matters of European importance from the perspective of EPA.

EPA Elections

Welcome the new Office Bearers

The EPA Board came together 25-26 January in Vienna for its first meeting of the year. Elections for EPA Office Bearers were held. EPA is proud to announce the election of:

Put your research on the programme of the FENS Forum 2016 in Copenhagen


Do you consider attending the 10th FENS Forum of Neuroscience? World-renowned scientists from across the globe will meet in Copenhagen next year to attend Europe’s largest neuroscience meeting. Why not present a symposium?

Reach out to current and future collaborators and submit your symposium or technical workshop proposal before the extended deadline of 9 March.

FENS welcomes submissions from the members and affiliates of the European Psychiatric Association. FENS Forum will bridge the entire range of neuroscience disciplines from the research themes available.

The Programme Committee will design the scientific programme of the FENS Forum 2016 on the basis of proposals from scientists from all over the world and all areas of neuroscience research.
