Summer School 2012 - Success in Strasbourg

EPA's 2nd Summer School was held in Strasbourg, France from 5-8 July. Twenty-four scholars from 18 European countries participated in the programme addressing "Comorbidity between Mental and Physical Disorders and Disabilities." Following a visit of the Council of Europe, the Opening Ceremony was held on the premises with the presence of distinguished guests Professor Patrice Boyer (EPA President), Dr. Michel Singer (son of Léonard Singer, EPA Founder) and Mrs. Laurence Lwoff (Head of the Council of Europe's Division of Bioethics). In addition to the highly-interactive three day academic programme, participants had the opportunity to visit Strasbourg, home of the EPA Headquarters. Feedback from the event has been extremely positive and preparations for the 2013 edition are already underway!
