A life changing opportunity in more ways than one!

Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland is partnering with the UK Government, the Met Office and others to promote the Get Ready for Winter campaign.

The campaign aims to give help and advice on how you can prepare yourself and your community for the cold weather ahead, as well as giving up-to-date weather alerts throughout the winter.

After some particularly cold winters over the last few years, the advice given is designed to keep people safe and warm, as well as ensure that everything keeps moving if the weather takes a turn for the worse.

It fits in perfectly with Rotary’s aim of helping our communities and last week's rain and winds.

This project outlined at the last District Council Plus will help Clubs prepare for the future.

Richard Purdon is holding an information and selection day for experienced Rotarians who want to be facilitators on 26 Jan.

More information on the District website.

How up to date is your Club's website?

Since July Chepstow have had 4 new members, 3 having come by looking at their revamped website.

They also use their site as a way of keeping club members up to date with committee meeting minutes in the member's section.

They would recommend all clubs to have a website and feel that the most important aspect is to keep it up to date on a weekly basis.

Nominations are now being sort by Paul Charter for the above before 6 Jan.

Held between June15th  & 21st at Carroll University, Wisconsin, USA

Theme will be “Gender, Equity, Social Justice -a Moral Necessity of Our Time”
