NEW MEMBERS

Lynne Wootton, Mike Nash and Yvonne Maunder have joined the eClub.

Chepstow has welcomed Clive Anstice.

They are all welcome as Rotarians.

Please tell us about your new members. We want to share your good news and what is working around the District.

Rotary Moment Tweet Day is 14th August.

Members are asked to tweet their favourite Rotary memory or event, talk about your club’s activities, or share your community service project.

Use hashtag #RotaryMoment. 

 RYLA SUCCESS

Take 40 young people, give them a RYLA course and what do you get?
A TEAM of 40 fulfilled, happy, buzzing and confident young people.
 They also collected over £450 for three charities.
 Every Club that sponsored a participant should be very pleased.
Contact Alan Martin to reserve the last remaining place for your Club on the 2013 course for a young person aged between 16 and 18 from your local area.

Action for M. E. provide information and support for people affected by Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.) and their carers.

M.E. symptoms may include persistent exhaustion, muscle and/or joint pain and having problems with memory and concentration.

Ken Corrigan and the District Community and Vocational Service team are looking for volunteers to join their local Resilience Team.

To help with things like driving, helping at rest centres, doctors and traffic control.

Initially focused on Bristol and Somerset. Rest of District to follow.

The Rotary Foundation One Vision and the new membership database are coming.

Both changes will affect every Club.
