NEW MEMBERS

Steve Melanopy as joined Bristol Breakfast which we think with 60 members makes them the largest Club in our District.

Hereford Marches recently welcomed as members Astral Shone, Mark Sykes and Lesley Davies.

John Barber is now a member of North Cotswolds.

Swindon Phoenix have inducted Gail Light and Tim Swinyard as members.

Please tell us and Sue Fitzjohn about your Club's new members. We can then share your good news with the rest of district.

The We're For Communities membership campaign is working very well.

Enquiries about membership are a fantatsic four fold up on this time last year.

BOWLED OVER!
The 2012-2013 skittles season ended with very rowdy finals held at the British Legion Club at Slimbridge.
Gloucester triumphed in the Challenge Cup over Dursley.  North Cotswolds over Clevedon in the Plate.
All four Clubs were presented with trophies by District Governor Nominee Martyn Harwood.

FELLOWSHIP FLOURISHES

The Rotary Friendship Exchange team from District 9930, North Island New Zealand, go their separate ways on Monday, after two very full weeks in our District, with Rotarian hosts from Marlborough, Bristol, Monmouth and Hereford.

The team have scaled the heights of Salisbury Cathedral Spire, walked the decks of Brunel’s SS Great Britain, wondered at the beauty of the Wye Valley, sampled cider and even found some time for shopping!

Team Leader Bob Jollands said “It’s my first Rotary Friendship Exchange experience and I don’t know why I haven’t joined a team before."

Our next RF Exchange is to Australia, in May 2014. Rotarians and their partners wishing to express an
interest should contact Alan Martin.
