Ballitore Meeting For Worship on RTE Radio

Meeting for Worship at Ballitore Preparative Meeting will be broadcast on RTE Radio as part of the 'Act of Worship' series on the last Sunday in October.  Further details will be available in the News and Events section of the website as soon as they become available.

The Friendly Word

September-October 2011 Edition Now Available

The current edition of the Friendly Word magazine is now available.  Articles include a report of South Belfast and Ulster Quarterly Meetings' visit to Swarthmoor Hall and a review of 'Chocolate Wars' by Deborah Cadbury. Read more.

Enniscorthy Friends Launch New Website

 Michael Martin at Enniscorthy Preparative Meeting has produced a new website for Friends in Wexford. The site has details of meetings for worship and outreach to local community groups - as well as some interesting pictures of historic Friends' meeting houses and burial grounds in County Wexford.  There is a photo-blog on the restoration of Enniscorthy meeting's 100 year old 'American' organ.

Open Day in Temple Bar

Eustace Street, 10am-4pm Saturday 15th October

 Inner city Quakers in Dublin are opening the meeting house to the public on Saturday 15th October between 10am and 4pm. Come and watch their homemade video about Eustace Street Friends!

Courses for Clerks in Ireland

The group set up by Yearly Meeting’s Committee has been working with Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre in Birmingham to arrange training in Quaker roles. The first round of these events for the support of clerks, will begin in October 2011.  More information about courses for clerks.

Ireland Yearly Meeting 2012

The next Ireland Yearly Meeting will be held from Thursday 12th April to Sunday 15th April 2012.   The venue for the first time ever will be Quaker House Dublin.  Read more about Ireland Yearly Meeting 2012.

Leinster Quarterly Meeting November 2011

Leinster Quarterly Meeting will take place in Dublin on 20th November 2011.  Details of the venue and programme for the day will be available shortly on the website.

Eustace Street Dublin: This is the Dublin city centre meeting. Eustace St. runs between Dame St. and the South Quays.  Meeting for Worship is at 11am on Sundays and 6.30pm on Thursdays.  There is no sunday school or junior meeting. The Eustace Street meeting is officially known as Dublin Preparative Meeting and is part of Dublin Monthly Meeting. Read More
