GHFP June 2014
Our "baby" is going to University!

We're proud to announce that one of our original sponsored students (started as an elementary schooler 7 years ago), Lungelo, received his official acceptance letter to the University of Swaziland to earn a bachelors of commerce & accounting!

We have another original, Njabuliso who will be entering an associates degree program in Automotive Engineering.  It's incredible to see what your support has done!  It's given these orphans a future... Thank you for opening doors for these kids...remain involved with our younger generation:
Sponsor an orphan's education!
Summer successes in Swaziland!
This May our volunteer teams worked hard to accomplish more than we even hoped!: We planted a vegetable garden at our New Hope Primary School to offer sustainable nutrition, delivered soccer jerseys to eLangeni Primary, updated our rural computer lab with mice and keyboards, delivered food to schools and child-headed homes, built our kitchen to serve school lunch, and hung painted murals on our classroom walls!
Paint for a Purpose!

Paint for a Purpose parties are a fun way to get involved, raise money, and have fun doing it! We have a local artist create the wall-sized masterpiece on a series of 20 8x10 canvases.  Then, volunteers (like yourself!) paint these pre-outlined canvases according to the color chart provided.

Later, in Swaziland, we put the canvas puzzle pieces back together (like this one created by artist Jane Allard and painted by volunteers in Springfield) to offer the students a colorful learning tool on their white classroom walls! Contact us if you'd like to get involved!
Join us in Swaziland!

Are you free March 13th-22nd, 2015?  That's our next available scheduled trip to Swaziland - we are officially booked for all of 2014!  The exact dates are on our website.

Or, do you have a team of 3 or 4 and want to select dates of your own?  If so, contact annie and she can customize your team's trip with your preferred trip dates!:  We'd love to have your support on the ground in Swaziland!
Education is the number one way out of poverty and proven effective in reducing HIV transmission.  Help us give rural Swazi orphaned children the tools to help themselves.
