Party for a Purpose at The Village Experience

GHFP would like to thank Kelly and Anne Campbell of The Village Experience for hosting a Give-Back night at their store (6055 N College Avenue, Indianapolis) in March.
We raised enough money to sponsor 3 educational software packages for our upcoming eLangeni Primary School Computer and English Literacy Lab!  Thank you to all of our generous supporters as well - we were thrilled to see you at the event!

We encourage you to continue shopping at TVE, or to visit for the first time if you missed our party.  They have fair trade goods from all over the world and your purchase helps struggling developing economies by supporting local trade. It also brings awareness to the plight of people in the developing world.  We thank you GHFP supporters and Kelly and Anne Campbell for making our event a success!

Want to host your own Party for a Purpose?  GHFP can assist you in planning an enjoyable event for you & your friends to party and support GHFP orphan programming.  Contact for more information.

On our last trip, we were asked by the headmaster in eLangeni to provide food for the children. At first we resisted. There are SO MANY kids! How will we ever find the money to keep it going? So we gave him what little food we had, donated by Kids Against Hunger, and asked if there were other needs that we could assist with that would be more sustainable.

Many of the students walk far distances on an empty stomach & cannot focus on their studies.  For most, whatever small meal the school could provide would be their only meal.  We knew we had to do something, but did not know how.  Then Mitali came into our lives.  She asked how much it was to feed the 620 kids for the entire year and did not bat an eye at the $13,000.  She explained that feeding the children has been a dream & donated our initial 3-month installment that will be used this summer to implement our first feeding program Mitali named "Foodom".

Everyday 21,000 children around the world die of hunger.  Our children will not be among that horrible statistic.  Mitali Saxena is truly a GHFP blessing.
