Lent offers us an invitation. To purity of heart and body. To being well again. And Ash Wednesday is the gateway, a kind of baptismal branding. We are marked on our foreheads with the cross of Christ, which is a tree of life that calls us back to the garden. Perhaps in this moment especially, we could use some clear thinking, a reorientation to what we know is true and right and life-giving. Join us for our service, this Wednesday, March 1st, 7:00 PM.
All are welcome to join us on Thursday, March 2 at 11:30  for our first gathering of this calendar year.   Since we do not have a formal program planned , we are hoping each of you will come with a favorite birthday story to share—it could be one of your birthdays or another that was memorable.  Our potluck meal will be enhanced by your additions of salads, snacks,  breads, or desserts.  Let’s hope March makes its debut as a lamb!
Mountain Construction will begin remodeling work on Monday, March 6th. Work is expected to take 8-10 weeks, and will affect access to the meeting rooms, bathrooms, classrooms, nursery, and choir room in the old section. The sanctuary will not be affected, although construction activity will limit access during the day. We will work to keep the Adult Library available for meetings as much as possible, please check with Scott or Pat in the office if you have questions about scheduling a room or email If you have general questions, feel free to talk with any of the building team: Patti Warden, Bob Seel, Mike Dittmar, Dan Clawson, Dan O'Rear or Frank Sickinger. You can also find more information here. Many thanks to you for your input and for the great work the Building Team has done to get us to this point!
We are scheduling a workday March 4th to pack and move boxes and furniture in the classrooms for the remodel. Much planning has already been done, but we will need help for the final push. Can you help? Please set aside some time on Saturday morning, March 4th! Talk to Bob Seel if you have questions or if you can make it. More information to come.

All St. Andrew friends are invited to help Bill Smith celebrate his 90th birthday on Saturday, February 25 from 2—7 PM at Kennydale Hall.  The event is an open house so feel free to drop by whenever it is convenient.
