CONGREGATIONAL PICNIC
Join us August 6, a week from this Saturday,  as we celebrate in the sun with our sisters and brothers from Manantial de Vida. The bi-congregational picnic will feature a cookout, delicious food, picnic games, and a wonderful opportunity to fellowship with those who share our space. Main dishes will be provided. Bring a side dish if you can, but come regardless! The festivities begin at 3pm.
HAMILTON
Layfayette:
We can end this war in Yorktown, cut them off at sea.
But for this to succeed there’s someone else we need.

Washington:
I know... Hamilton!

Layfayette:
You want yo fight for your land back?

Washington:
I gotta get my right-hand man back!

Hamilton people (and those curious about this phenomenon), the wait is over! We are having a “Hamilton Night” at St. Andrew Wednesday, August 10 sometime between 6-9pm. What we know for sure is that there will be Hamilton food:  the menu is based on lyrics from the show! Talk to Julie Kae, or ask Amber Oakes to see if you can contribute.

Next Wednesday we will have time for folks to come in and sing any of the lead character songs/raps. For folks wanting to sing along with chorus numbers, Julie Kae has a script for you to follow along. Please contact Julie Kae so we can schedule and use our time wisely!  Don't throw away your shot.
MUSIC AND FELLOWSHIP SMALL GROUP
A small group is being formed and hosted by Dan and Candis ORear. This group will revolve around music and fellowship. We will meet to share our stories about music in our lives and learn to perform songs that we will share with the congregation during worship. The format will be three rehearsal meetings during which we will learn one song then share it in worship the following Sunday. All ages and all levels of experience are invited. Do you have an instrument you haven't played in years? Bring it along and remember what fun you can have. Love to sing but don't know how to read music? No problem. The group will help you learn a part. The purpose of this group is not to create a performance piece, it is to enjoy the process of making music in fellowship and sharing it with others. Interested?  Talk to Dan or Candis, or drop us an email .
READINGS FOR THIS SUNDAY
Hosea 11:1-11 â€¢ Psalm 107:1-9, 43 â€¢ Colossians 3:1-11 â€¢ Luke 12:13-21
