Join us Sunday after worship for Aftertalk. These gatherings are designed to offer conversational space to help us together make the link from worship to the world. Each week we add a page on the website with resources and links that may help you prepare for our conversation. Take a look on our website and join us on Sunday!
Speaking of Aftertalk... Patti Warden is providing baked potatoes for lunch this Sunday after worship. Plan on sticking around, and if you can, bring a topping to add to the feast! A few people to help with cleanup following Aftertalk would also be appreciated!

This year we plan to start our meetings with conversation and reflection on a current topic that might inform or impact our call to serve and bless God’s world. Our next meeting is Monday, October 24th at 6:30 PM. Maggie Breen will lead a 20 minute conversation about the new Co-ordinated Entry System for those who are homeless. The issue of homelessness has been on the front page of our newspapers quite a bit recently. This new system attempts to respond and seems to be positively impacting family homelessness. Please join us for our conversation. You can plan to stay for our whole meeting or leave after.

Our Fall Retreat at Soundview, happens this weekend, October 21-23. We will join with our friends at Summit Avenue PC to play, rest, reflect and worship. Keep the group in your prayers!

On behalf of the St. Andrew youth, we want to thank you all for the support you continually give to the youth, Maggie and me. It is with your support that Megan, Will and I were able to attend the Triennium Presbytery youth conference at Purdue University. Many memories, laughs and serious conversations were shared together. The theme was "Go!" The scripture told the youth to go and do something around justice. Please enjoy this video to see a glimpse into the amazing experiences we all shared.
Mark your calendars for our major fund-raising event! Can you help by donating hand-crafted items or baked goods, containers of ingredients for cookies, soups, or other favorites? Proceeds from past bazaars have supported REACH Center of Hope, youth of St. Andrew, Luther’s Table, NPH, and Renton schools.  Please plan to help make this year’s Holiday Bazaar a success and share one or more of your special talents!
