We're in the midst of an exceptionally busy week but wanted to send a quick update to let you know the status of several of our big, ongoing prayer requests:
1. Most importantly, we received visas for Gina and the boys last week! We were the very last people to leave the immigration office as they were turning out the lights and drawing the shades, but we left with new residence cards in hand! That was a L-O-N-G process, but what a relief!
2. After receiving our residence cards, Gina was able to renew her driver's license with no problem. So, we're back to normal this week with two drivers in the house. That's also a big relief for family logistics!
3. Repairs on our house in Asheboro are now well underway. When the repairs are complete, we will try to sell that property instead of continuing to rent it. The bank has given us a reprieve on our mortgage payments through the end of December, so we're praying for a quick sale! If not, we'll have to look for another renter.
So, lots of good news to report! Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Thank you for joining us in praying for these big needs and lifting our family up during an exceptionally difficult time of transition. We continue to be encouraged by the work here, and we'll write again with a longer update next week. For now, please join us in giving thanks for all of these clear answers to prayer!
With Love and Gratitude,
Jeremy and Gina
P.S. - This week, I'll be preaching at ANF's Downtown Campus, and the time I have available for sermon prep is pretty limited. Would you pray for me as I prepare to preach the Good News this week? Thanks friends!
