YOUNGPAYNE& The Kids Table present: Color Me Collaborative
May 16 - June 14, 2014
Opening Reception:
Friday, May 16 6-9pm (Facebook invite>>)
Hours: Thursday & Friday 2-7pm, Saturday 1-6pm

The works in this exhibition will include transient and temporary urban actions, humorous and subversive experimentations and collaborative pedagogy. While works in the exhibition may focus on localized artists and specific works, the oeuvre represents vibrant and compelling trends in contemporary art.  -YOUNGPAYNE

COLOR ME COLLABORATIVE focuses on the interaction between the audience, social systems, and the artist through topics such as aesthetics, ethics, collaboration, persona, media strategies, and social activism. Artists working in the medium of KIDZ TABLE develop projects by inviting collaboration with individuals, communities, institutions, or a combination of these, creating participatory art that exists both within and outside of the traditional gallery and museum system. The social interaction component of KIDZ TABLE inspires, drives, or, in some instances, completes the project.
