on account of your dedicated attendance, public praise & obviously peer-respected opinion, HM157 has been nominated for a glorious triumvirate of Best of LA WEEKLY Awards.
 

We are beyond flattered by your polled-admiration & are honored to share this ballot with some of our favorite underground, mom & pop LA institutions. If you have yet to cast your vote in these awards, the process is quite simple & electronically non-invasive.  

We would love to woo-your-clicks for the categories of Best All Ages Club, Best Art Collective & Best Music Venue. Legendary SF club-night SMiLE! will soon migrate south & descend upon Lincoln Heights for one night - this Saturday, 9/20 - at your favorite Victorian house. MIRANDA LEE RICHARDS + PAULA FRAZER (with Jacob Aranda, Amy Fowler & David Cuetter) + BART DAVENPORT + THE AEROSOLS (SF) + THE SHE'S (SF) & SYLVIE SPENCER (mistress / mother of installation & performance) will present a musical tableau of phenomenal scope for your audio-visual pleasure.
 
Host for this eve & SMiLE!'s founder NEIL MARTINSON will emcee the Los Angeles incarnation of this San Francisco treat. Living legend DJ DON BOLLES will provide sonic foreplay & demonstrate  the art of the masterful record-spin.
