Parsha of the Week:
Ekev: Deuteronomy 7:12-11:25
Torah of the Week: What exactly comprises a "stiff necked people?" Rabbi Sacks offers an explanation in his 2008 essay, and what can be considered a weakenss can be turned on its head into a strength in due time - a lesson for us all!

Israel is the land of milk and honey? Why is honey kosher, anyway? Is the bee honey the kind the parsha means? The answers to these questions and more here.

Parshat Ekev: Circumcise your Heart

His father, Cantor Isadore Singer had a forty year career as a cantor.  He spent 32 of those years as Chazzan at Temple Emanuel in Passaic, New Jersey.
