EAJS Conference Grant Programme in European Jewish Studies
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS FOR 2016/17
 
The European Association for Jewish Studies invites applications for  two different conference grant programmes during the year. The call for applications for the first of these, the EAJS Programme in European Jewish Studies, closed last month. The Call for Applications for the second, the EAJS Conference Grant Programme in European Jewish Studies, will be posted on the EAJS website next week on February 10th.

The EAJS Conference Grant Programme in European Jewish Studies offers between £ 1,000 and £ 10,000 for conferences and summer schools.

EUROPEAN JOURNAL OF JEWISH STUDIES
EJJS
The European Journal of Jewish Studies (EJJS) is the journal of the EAJS and published in cooperation with the University of Halle-Wittenberg. Its main purpose is to publish high-quality research articles, essays and shorter contributions on all aspects of Jewish Studies. Submissions are all double blind peer-reviewed.  [Further information]
 

Members of the EAJS may subscribe to the online-only version of EJJS at EUR 15 / US$ 20, which is a highly reduced rate (individual online-only rate is EUR 55 / US$ 72).

EAJS members should refer to the Members Area of the EAJS website for details of how to subscribe at the members’ rate.

EAJS Funding Advisory Service
 
The Funding Advisory Service, which is available to all EAJS members, includes both the extensive online Funders Database relevant to academics, postdoctoral researchers and students interested in research related to Jewish Studies, and access to the EAJS Funding Advisor, Jonathan Starbrook, who may be consulted directly by email to discuss possible research grant opportunities. Support is provided as follows: 
  • Advice on appropriate funders or schemes for a specific project
  • Advice on the application process for applying for a specific grant
Wherever possible, members should ensure they also consult with local Research Administrators (or equivalent) in their home institutions (if appropriate).
