SUPPORT FOR ACADEMIC EVENTS:

EAJS Programme in European Jewish Studies: Fostering cooperation in Jewish Studies across Europe

Call for Submissions for 2015/16

Closing date: 27th February 2015

The EAJS summer colloquia that used to take place in Oxford have been replaced by this new programme which is designed both to foster cooperation among scholars involved in Jewish Studies across Europe and to support early career researchers in this field to develop a professional network.

Scholars are now invited to submit event proposals for the academic year 2015/16. The programme offers funding of up to € 8,000 for each event for travel expenses, accommodation and maintenance of the active participants.

Grants will be provided for two types of academic events, EAJS Laboratories (for senior and junior scholars, including PhD students) and  EAJS Roundtables (for more advanced scholars).

The deadline for proposals is 27 February 2015

For more information, and the online application form, see the EAJS website here.
