Good afternoon <<First Name>>,

Happy Easter everyone.  I hope you had a wonderful and blessed Lenten season.  Did you see how beautiful St Clement's was decorated on Sunday?  I took a couple pictures but it really doesn't do it justice.  I suspect Russ Morgan was the mastermind behind all this.

Rosary Request / Logistics for Thursday

Gents, we got a request from the DeLamielleure family for a Rosary for Thursday night.  As you are aware, that's also the night for our monthly membership meeting.  So, we're gonna need to adjust the times and locations.  We'll have the Officers Meeting at Malburgs at 6 pm.  Henry says we he has a place that can accommodate 10 o us.  We will then do the Rosary for the Bud DeLamielleure at 7 pm.  After the Rosary, we will proceed to St Clement for our meeting.  There will be no Rosary in the Day Chapel this month.  Please come to Malburg's at 7 PM.

Confirmation Mass Helpers

Russ Morgan is asking for the Knights to volunteer to serve as ushers or communion ministers for the confirmation mass on Friday, April 28th, at 5 p.m. Anyone who can assist can email or call Russ.

MI Drive

Big thanks go out to Mark DiPaola for leading our MI Drive this year.  We had a good participation rate this year.  Thanks to everyone who came out and made this another successful program for us.  We'll go over the financial results at the meeting on Thursday.

Who let this handsome devil out of the house with supervision?

Officers Meeting Changes

Please be advised that the Officer's meeting this month will be on the same date as the general membership meeting, April 20th at 6 pm at MALBURGS.

Scholarships

Lester Ottenwalder lead our Councils Scholarships process this year.  We got off to a very slow start with applications.  Things changed quickly and ew ended up with many fine candidates. The awards will be announced in our parish bulletin (and at SS John and Paul's bulletin.)

Directory

I'm still building a Council directory.  If you'd like to have your info excluded, please send me a note.  If you've already sent me an email on this topic, there's no need to send another. I've got ya covered.  Name, address, email, phone number are the data fields I'm planning to include.

Texas Holdem

Start our engines, April 27th - 30th is our time to shine.  Anthony Rogers is the man with the plan.  Thanks for all the guys that have already volunteered.  There's still a couple slots left.  If you could help us out, please call Anthony at 56-260-5783.  Just a reminder, this is one of our biggest fund raisers.  Properly staffing this series of days is very important to the financial well-being of our Council.  This funds many of the good works we do the rest of the year.

Your next opportunity to dazzle the world with your culinary skills will be on Mothers Day. May 14th after all Masses.  Of course, we'll need all hands on deck to pull this off.  We'll have a sign-up sheet on line in the next couple days.  Stand by.

Until next time, Vivat Jesus
