  • Hot Docs Workshop: Keep Your Film Close and Your Enemies Closer

    May 4, Toronto, Canada - Citizen Lab Director Ron Deibert will be hosting a Hot Docs Workshop on filmmaker digital security on May 4 from 1:00-3:00pm at University of Toronto's Northrop Frye Hall, Room 004. Ron Deibert will present case studies on targeted digital attacks, discuss how photojournalists and documentary filmmakers may become increasingly targeted by highly sophisticated threat actors, and answer your questions on how to mitigate these risks.
     
  • Citizen Lab Summer Institute 2017

    July 12-14, Toronto, Canada - The Citizen Lab Summer Institute (CLSI) on Monitoring Internet Openness and Rights is an annual research workshop hosted at the Munk School of Global Affairs, University of Toronto. Proposals are now open for submission for the 2017 CLSI and closes on April 21, 2017.

  • Google Policy Fellowship at Citizen Lab

    The Citizen Lab is a host organization for the 2017 Google Policy Fellowships in Canada. Applications to the Canada Fellowship Program must be received by end of day on Friday, April 28, 2017.
